Abstract

The Africa Asia Youth Nest (AAYN) and Africa Diaspora Network Japan (ADNJ), in partnership with UNDP and UNV, are in the process of proposing a policy proposal to the Japanese government and various stakeholders of TICAD for its improvement. After completing the survey phase, we are now welcoming young African and Japanese leaders to join a breakout session to discuss and propose solutions for the future with using “Future Design” as a method. We look forward to receiving your application, please review the following application guidelines! Depending on the number of applicants, participants may be selected. Please understand this beforehand.

Guidelines for applicants

  1. Ability to get involved in discussions in English.
  2. Preferably possessing academic expertise or relevant experience in Africa-related activities.
  3. Currently or intending to engage in activities related to Africa in the present or future.
  4. Having awareness of issues facing Japan/Africa.

Application period

  • 20th, May (Mon) to 15th, June (Sat)

募集要項（推奨）

  1. 英語でのディスカッションができる。
  2. 学術的な専門性、またはアフリカに関連した活動経験があることが望ましい。
  3. 現在または将来、アフリカに関連した活動を行いたいと考えている。
  4. 日本／アフリカが抱える課題について、問題意識を持っている。
